What is a cam lock?

Cam Locks are one of the most common and simplest locks to use. The cam lock was invented in 1985 by Volker Guelck from Ontario, Canada. The lock consists of a metal plate. Which is called a cam, that is attached to the core of the locking devise and rotates as the key is inserted and turned. The cam rotates between 90° to 180°, locking and unlocking. How much is shipping?

Shipping will be different on every order. It is affected by weight, box size, delivery address and shipping method. Our Shopping Cart has been re-designed to calculate shipping at the time your order is placed.

 

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes. We ship to Canada via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parsel Service (UPS). All of our shipments going outside the Continental United States come with the appropriate customs paperwork to make it easy for our customers to receive their orders on time.

 

Is there a price break for large orders?

Yes. We offer very competitive pricing for large quantity orders. The price break will depend on the lock and quantity in question. Our Shopping Cart has been setup with price breaks in mind and will automatically update your price based on quantity.

 

Are your locks American Made?

Although Industrial Lock & Hardware, Inc. buys components from both North American and foreign suppliers, we assemble all of our locks in our Palmdale California location.

 

Do you carry architectural locks?

No. We do not carry architectural (doors, windows) locks for your home or business. We focus on the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), End User and Locksmith Industries.
